Le Young Scientists’ Symposium est une conférence scientifique organisée par des doctorants et post-doctorants, dédiée à la chimie et la biologie. Elle rassemble des étudiants et jeunes chercheurs issus de différentes institutions, et leur offre un moment privilégié pour présenter leurs travaux, échanger des idées et développer leur réseau dans un environnement interactif et collaboratif.
Programme
Le programme comprendra :
- des conférences plénières,

des communications orales,

des sessions de posters,

une table ronde sur les différentes perspectives de carrière après le doctorat,

une session dédiée aux partenaires et sponsors.
Des temps d’échange seront favorisés tout au long de l’événement (pauses-café, déjeuners et moment convivial en fin de première journée). Le symposium se clôturera par une cérémonie de remise de prix et de clôture récompensant les meilleures contributions.

The IECB (European Institute of Chemistry and Biology) is organizing the 14th Young Scientists’ Day – Young Scientists’ Symposium (YSS 2026), which will take place on June 4–5, 2026 in Bordeaux, at the IECB in Pessac.
The Young Scientists’ Symposium is a scientific conference organized by PhD students and postdoctoral researchers, dedicated to chemistry and biology. It brings together students and early-career researchers from various institutions, offering them a unique opportunity to present their work, exchange ideas, and develop their professional network in an interactive and collaborative environment.
The program will include:

plenary lectures,

oral presentations,

poster sessions,

a round-table discussion on the different career paths after the PhD,

a session dedicated to partners and sponsors.
Networking opportunities will be encouraged throughout the event (coffee breaks, lunches, and a social gathering at the end of the first day). The symposium will conclude with an award and closing ceremony recognizing the best contributions.
