The mini-symposium “Molecular assemblies in health and disease” focuses on macromolecular assemblies playing a role in the field of health.
The aim is to bring together internationally renowned scientists to discuss the technologies and scientific issues surrounding the current challenges in their respective field. Different macromolecular complexes and their mechanisms, ranging from complex amyloid systems to dynamic assemblies involved in cellular organization, will be presented.
At the end of the mini-symposium, a get-together will promote scientific discussions in the community and will be specially tailored for students and young researchers, including a poster session to stimulate the exchange.
The speaker list includes renowned scientists from Bordeaux, France and Europe: Hartmut Oschkinat (FMP Berlin, D); M. Angeles Jimenez (CSIC Madrid, ES); Rut Carballido-Lopez (Micalis Institute Inrae, Paris); Michele Vendruscolo (University of Cambridge, UK, remote); Burkhard Bechinger (Université de Strasbourg); Erick Dufourc (CBMN, CNRS Pessac, Université de Bordeaux); Harald Wodrich (MFP, INSERM, Université de Bordeaux) ; Nadia Izadi-Pruneyre (Institut Pasteur, Paris)
Antoine Loquet (CBMN / IECB, CNRS Pessac, Université de Bordeaux) will give a short perspective talk on the opportunities with a 1.2 GHz NMR spectrometer in Bordeaux.
Inscription is free but mandatory for logistic reasons. Space is limited to 120 participants.
Inscriptions are open under the following link: https://framaforms.org/mini-symposium-molecular-assemblies-in-health-and-disease-1707208519
