On June 28th, Pr Ron Heeren (Maastricht University) will give a conference untitled "Translational spatial biology: From “omics” to the clinic" at IBCG conference room.

Ron Heeren is a Dutch scientist in mass spectrometry imaging. He is currently a distinguished professor at Maastricht University and the scientific director of the Multimodal Molecular Imaging Institute (M4I), where he heads the division of Imaging Mass Spectrometry. He has an oustanding track record of publications and citations, and is one of the world leaders in the field of MS imaging.

Appart from being a terrific speaker, Ron is passionate for basic research and for applied science.
